Mountain ride from Alcudia
Prepare for a long day in the saddle with a lot of climbing. Four nice climbs to be exact. We head out from Alcudia towards Pollenca. Already here it starts to slightly kick up.
Climb number 1. Coll de Femenia is the first climb you will encounter for today- 7.6km and 6%. This climb will warm up your legs and prepare you for the rest.
Climb number 2 is often catched by surprise. This is the Ma-10 from Lluc a 3.2km climb with an average of 5%
By now your legs is in climbing mode and we go in to climb number 3 up to Puig Major a 5km with an 5.2% gradient. The climb ends when the tunnel starts. Be aware its pretty dark in the tunnel and the long technical descent starts down to Soller. Keep an eye on the road but try to enjoy the views.
Climb number 4 Coll de Soller (North) 7.4km and 6
It is a relatively steady climb and the first couple of kilometers are rather uneventful. Then, at kilometer 3, the hairpin bends start. There are so many of them, that counting is almost impossible. The road twists and turns up the mountain, offering you some truly spectacular views.
Climibing is done for today and we head home close to the foot of Tramuntanas and we will pass Santa Maria - Binisalem- Campanet - Sa Pobla

Cap Formentor
An absolute must do ride, challenging but worth every second! The climb starts almost immediately, through hairpins and up 223 m to the viewpoint known as El Mirador de Sa Creueta. Gradients are 7-8%, but sweeping views over Port de Pollença should help take your mind off the grind.
This route starts from the marina in Puerto Pollensa but can be easily started anywhere along the Puerto Pollenca Ma-2210 bypass road. It’s just under 3km from the marina to the beginning of the Formentor climb. This ride is a wonderful chance to sample some breathtaking views across Puerto Pollensa and if you follow the road to the Formentor lighthouse, it takes you to the most Northerly point on Mallorca -Cap De Formentor.
